Programme Aim

The Advanced Certificate in Business with Finance and Business with Human Resource Management will provide the student with the skills, knowledge and competencies to work in a Supervisory Managerial role. it will also provide the student  with the opportunities to pursue a professional qualification in Accountancy or Taxation, or it can be used as a pathway to a third level college.

Any Business related QQI Major Award Level 5

Leaving Certificate student – CAO Points: 280 and an O4 in English and Mathematics or above and ideally have a Business subject.

All students must satisfy a BKSB English and Mathematics and Interview.

  • The Certificate for the Accounting Technicians Year 1 (Portarlington FET Centre)
  • SETU Second Year Option (conditions apply) SE401/SE414
  • First year of third level programmes.

FULL TIME: 1 Year

PART TIME: 2 year
