The Level 6 Special Needs Assisting course builds on the core skills developed at Level 5 and is designed for individuals seeking advanced knowledge and professional progression in the area of special education support. This programme focuses on higher-level strategies, including behaviour management, understanding Individual Education Plans and the importance of collaboration with teachers and specialists to enhance these plans. SNA Level 6 is suited to those aiming to deepen their expertise, take on greater responsibility within the learning environment, and demonstrate a high standard of professional practice as an experienced SNA.
You need to have your QQI Level 5 Special Needs Assisting module completed before commencing this course.
This course will run every Wednesday morning from 9:00am-1:00pm from January to May 2027
