Lifelong Learning Department Courses

Previously known as Laois Third Level our new Lifelong Learning Department at Portarlington Further Education and Training Centre is proud to offer a wide range of industry recognised professionally certified programmes on a part-time basis.

The Lifelong Learning Department team are dedicated to supporting those students who make an investment in life-long learning by establishing and maintaining an excellent working partnership between our students and their lecturers. In today’s economic climate, we understand the importance of achieving a good work/life balance. By providing our students with the opportunity to successfully combine their study, their work and their family commitments.

Together with our education partners, we provide a range of excellent part-time courses for students in the wider Leinster area.
